SDIO 802.11g Wireless LAN Card

Just Moblie has released a new product which is the SDIO 802.11g Wireless LAN Card.
This card has the same speed as the standard laptop and it is faster than those integrated WiFi which has the 802.11b wireless protocol. This is suitable for people who want to get a faster WiFi speed or those who don't have a WiFi card integrated into their Pocket PC.

The Card is very small when it is being compared with a Compact Flash and a SD card. The card is slightly bigger than the SD card and it is about the same size as the Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo.

One of the product features is that after installing the device into the Pocket PC just insert the card into the Pocket PC and it will automaticaly configures itself.

Another advantage of the card is that it is small and when it is inserted into the Pocket PC it protudes only about 5mm which is a plus because when the Pocket PC is in your pocket or you accidently drop it the chances of it being damaged is less likely to happen.

When the Pocket PC is turned on with the card inside the card will automaticaly detects the nearest connection and connects to it and if there is a password needed it will ask the user to enter the password. The card will also detect whether the network is secured by WEP, WPA, or WPA2.
